Works Great, Easy to Use, Customizable, Includes Atmospheric Adjustments
This app works just as advertised. I like the fact that it allows for a wide range of adjustments in the output. You can change the total distance displayed, as well as the intervals. Makes it useful for high-powered, flat-shooting rounds as well as lower-velocity, more rounded-trajectory loads like handgun calibers.
As others have pointed out, bullet weight has no effect on trajectory. What matters is ballistic coeficient and velocity. If you could find a 2 grain bullet and a 500 grain bullet with the same ballistic coeficient and the same velocity (which you couldnt) theyd follow the same trajectory. So why, you may ask, is bullet weight one of the inputs? Because in addition to bullet drop and windage, this app also calculates the terminal energy delivered by the bullet at each distance, and for that you do need to know the weight (as well as velocity).
