Anny modification to the default BC results in a warning stating that the BC must be between 1.000 and 0.000, even thought it is. Its the only problem that I have found (so far) but it renders the program usless. Fix it and it will actualy be a very usfull program. P.S. Is the BC a G1 or a G7, please specify.
Strait foreword, no bugs, just works. Would be nice to store calculated info.
Cant change units only in Deg F not versatile and the dots (.) dont work. I do not recommend this buy something instead.
Essential, there is no to metric system
This app does everything that you could possibly want in a free ballistics app. The only things that would be an improvement would be: 1) automatic temperature and barometer data down loads from your iPhone; and 2) G7 coefficient option. Otherwise its perfect.
Nice app for external ballistics. The calculations agree with results from other validated ballistics engines. It would be very handy to have atmospheric input (altitude, pressure, humidity, and temperature), and have the ouput table in user defined increments (1, 5 10 yards).
Worked before the update. Not anymore. :(
Pretty darn close to high dollar programs. I use it to check different load capabilities. Free on top of that. Thanks for your work
Someone ruined the app. Only goes to 500 yards now. If that is all you want, great. Bring back the 1000 yards.
Simple, easy to use. Quickly provides an easy to read drop chart. Would be very functional in the field or at the range.
For free you cant beat it! Im not sure what others are complaining about? The app lists data out to 1000 yards. I used this app recently with a new barrel setup at a 600 yard comp. I entered my data and selected calulate got my moa data dailed it in, sent the round down range and presto on the paper in the 8 ring. NM 1/4x1/4 iron sight, 62 grs, 223. Folks, that is a pretty nice free APP.
1000 yd is back. Very practical.
This is a great find! Accurate and best of all free! I wanted a ballistic calculator for my hunt in Wyoming (really long shots) and I found it! Definitely give it a try.
Being free I cant complain but its off enough to miss the shot at range. Need elevation and temperature inputs. Peob great for hunting but not for critical applications. Overall clean interface well made.
It is possible to change the interval and max range. You just have to go to the phone setting and change it there. A pretty good app. I was able to make a 200 yard hit (first shot) with a 22lr using this program.
This is a great app. What would make it even more accurate for those long range shots (500+), would be to go by the G7 ballistics scale. Other than that the app is awesome. I wish other ballistic apps where as easy to use.
Very good app. After working up a load for my 308, I chronographed & entered the data in my Sierra Exterior Ballistics Software. Pretty much everything matched up.
There are so many more apps out there that are better than this one. It was okay, before the last update. The last update was to allow those annoying advertisements. Certainly not worth the $1.99 price of the bulletdrop+ just to have an advertisement free app, I am deleting this from my phone.
Mine goes to 2000 yards now that I went into the phone settings and made the change. Problem with the free app is it works so well almost dont need the pay app.
